I have been dealing with the
BLAHS since New Year's Day. Every year it seems to happen at this time. I don't know why but I have not been able to get it together to blog or do anything with my computer since then. I haven't responded to emails, I haven't visited anybody's blogs and I haven't been taking photographs either.
Today I am actually forcing myself to write because I noticed I have had at least 15 messages from people wondering if I am okay and where I am! Guilty of avoidance ... my only reason for not doing this sooner.
I am fine - my health is good. I haven't been a recluse - we have been going out and doing things. I have been knitting - making hats and mittens for my grandkids for next Christmas (four of eight sets are done). The Darling Man and I have begun some volunteer work at the local community policing office and we have been back and forth to Toronto to visit our children. We continue to work on our home here at Kahshe trying to make our place feel less like a cottage. The kitchen is coming along - it has been a work in progress for 20 years but I can now say I have a counter and cupboards that look a little less like a temporary camp and more like a modern kitchen. A leak in our roof set us back a little as part of a wall had to come down and go back up. It is almost ready to be repainted now.
I have just been avoiding the computer for some reason! I will be easing myself back into blogging over the next month and I am sure the dreaded
BLAHS will disappear as we get more sunshine and the promise of spring.
♥ Thank you everyone for your care and concern! ♥I will be making the rounds again to visit soon!
Promise!
