The Segwun & The Wenonah II ... Still Waiting For Spring

Photobucket

There is something about these ships that keeps drawing me back to photograph them again and again - this one was taken on April 1st. The joke is the ice is still holding them fast to the Wharf.

This is a high definition range photograph done using the bracketing feature on my Canon and put together using Photomatix Pro software.

Ahhh spring, flowers bursting into life followed by tourists and day trippers.

Great photos you share with us all here.

Beautiful Jenn. You always make me want to grab my camera and run out and take new photos. I have an old Canon SLR but my digi is so convenient.

I love the Photomatix program and will buy it soon. I am hoping for a new laptop by summer (or sooner) as this poor old pal os almost ready for the duct tape. Then I will get that program.

I hope to get over Muskoka, Bala way, with camera in hand,in the next couple of weeks now that the weather is better. The east-west drive across the concessions is a tough drive in the winter.

What a boat! I can't imagine there being that much ice to keep a big thing like that from moving.
