The Darling Man and I went for a little drive on Sunday to enjoy the sunshine of Easter Day. Along the way I noticed this pair of Mallards walking on the still frozen edge of the lake. The wind chill was just enough that the edge of the lake had frozen a little over night. The poor Mallards were skating as they tried to find a open spot. I just had to video them as they trudged to open water. Of course, then I had to have a little fun with a video! I hope it makes you smile!

Very clever. I thought they just knew where the rocks were.
It did make me smile...a big one! I'm also impressed with your video-grapher skills :-) The music was a nice touch...perfect choice.
Good morning, dear Jennie:-)
I so loved watching that little video...I was giggling seeing those two ducks slipping and sliding! lol Steve & I went for a walk along Ramsey Lake and it's still frozen over so the birds were skating on it as well:-) xoxo
That was cute and the music was perfect!
Mallard courtship is quite persistent. As the season ends here and nest building begins, it's fun to see all the unattached males. The ladies are very picky. Good for them.
